Business card is a small-sized printed item bearing information about a company (organization) or individual. Business cards can be corporate or personal.

What information a business card should include

• Business cards for business purpose contain information about a specialist representing a company. This type of card is created in a company’s corporate style and apart from company’s contact details it contains information about the specialist: name, position, personal contact details.  Business cards are shared during formal introductions between representatives of companies at business meetings. 
• Corporate cards present an organization and are designed in accordance with a company’s corporate style. They include a company’s logo, slogan, contact information.  They also may contain text about company’s field of specialization or images of goods. 
• Personal cards bear information about an individual with indication of his personal details, including telephone numbers and field of specialization. Personal cards are designed in free-form style. 

Size and design of business cards

Generally business cards have size of 90x50 mm, but there are exceptions when the size of a business card corresponds to the one of a credit card (85.6×53.98 mm). Rarely used size is 74x52 mm.
